Space, Time and Consciousness - HD video

14

Is space just another name for nothing? What is time and how does it relate to space? Will we ever understand the relationship between consciousness and the physical brain? Welcome to the world of The Open University’s Professor Russell Stannard where the big mysteries of the universe are made comprehensible and any possibility is considered in the name of science. This material is supported by a grant from the John Templeton Foundation.

Fascinating series through space & time with a terrific host
This is one of my favorite iTunes U series. What makes this so wonderfully entertaining and well as educational is the demeanor of the host. He is like an old professor who in a matter of fact style, gives an overall course dealing with space, time and the mind. As an avid lover of cosmology it is isn't that I learned much that I didn't already know - it is the spin that the host put on these issues that made me look at these unanswerable questions with a new set of eyes. Thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the professor in his study, or so it seemed to be, kind of like having a conversation with an old friend.
