One of my favorites of 2020. Hard to say goodbye!

this year has been truly insane and dystopian, but night call has kept me sane since a friend reccomended I listen to it back in March. tess, emily, and molly have great chemistry together. the show strikes a perfect balance between current news in tech, politics, art and entertainment media, weird California subculture, interesting rabbit holes off the internet, plus a hilarious and passionate appreciation for all things just slightly off-kilter. every monday I look forward to a new episode. Night Call has helped me feel connected to the world through this pandemic, and I am sure to keep listening for many, many episodes to come!

I’m pretty over hearing about Keith Ren-whatever and the Nexium heartburn cult. I liked the pre-May themed months. No hate for taking a break for social justice, I certainly liked that better than a 5 week mini-series review

The ladies of night call have created their own universe within the podcast and it keeps me going down great internet rabbit holes. Amazing for listening to when you can’t sleep.

All three hosts bring terrific energy, intelligence, and insight. There is a focus on pop culture which isn’t always reverential, but still they take it seriously. The movie and book reviews are helpful, too, in connecting people to what’s new and interesting, but they also include pop culture that is ignored in other podcasts. The material on spirituality, religion, ghosts, spirits, and other types of unknown entities and religion has the same lack of reverence, but a deep respect for mystery and for people’s need for community. Not everything can be explained logically! On the other hand, they explore and call out cult-like behavior where needed. I just think the three personalities blend so well together and everything is on the table to discuss - food, drink, politics, the pandemic - that i sense it is a community that I’m joining when I listen to this podcast, because they integrate the calls and callers into the pod. Even for an old guy, who doesn’t get all the tech and pop culture language and references, I feel like I’m at home when listening to Nightcall. You should listen and join the family!

Night Call is quickly becoming one of my new favorite podcasts, I highly recommend it. I look forward to Mondays because of Night Call.

Night Call (as in Girls in Hoodies) is a podcast that truly feels like I’m listening in to my friends. I love Emily, Molly and Tess - they are intelligent, cool and thoughtful. Sometimes their guests are a bit off. But they probably know this and it doesn’t make the show less entertaining.

Been listening to them since Girls in Hoodies. They’re awesome.

This is fun podcast but every word when you get excited to tell a story should be be the word “ like” repetitive and irritating after the 8 “like” in one sentence. I know I sound like a jerk. I’m a first time listener and I really enjoyed everyone’s views...until everyone kept repeating the same word.

Great guests, and only improving as the dystopian nature of reality accelerates :)

This podcast is extremely entertaining, very well structured, and respectful of current events in a way that is very refreshing and insightful. The hosts are incredibly smart and easy to learn from while still providing very fun and challenging content. Lastly, it is refreshing to hear three hosts of one podcast challenge each other with different opinions. Many podcasts have very insular and homogenized conversations but this one provides multiple different points of view on varied topics. *hits subscribe enthusiastically*

These ladies really raised the bar on their fantastic show with the Y2K theme this month. Can’t recommend the show enough.

One of them is from Tacoma so I am contractually obligated to like this podcast but also it’s great too so that factored in to the five stars

I used to love night call but when iheart took it over, the quality was off (audio would repeat at least once an episode). Also it’s so structured now that it’s not fun, I miss it being random and not like “plastic surgery April” 🙄 Bring back the old night call!!

Aliens, ghosts, erotic thrillers, strange creatures, curses, condiments and the greatest horror of them all: modern technology! I listen to it as I drift off and I never have nightmares (but that might be because of all the weed I smoke). Love you girls!

These hosts are the best! Each brings a different angle and opinion although they are like minded. I always learn something.

Just a fun, slightly haunting, late-night road-trip on dark roads with your best friends type of podcast. Easy to tell these 3 smart women really enjoy the conversations and approach all their various subjects with openness and enthusiasm, which is very inviting for the listener.

Not at all what I was expecting. Just 4 Christian girls talking over each other about nothing. It’s just sad😐

Love this podcast. The ladies talk about things current, but in a style similar to talk shows that were on the radio, before they all started having pre-determined political views and topics. The women are very intersting and very entertaining.

Love spending my strange days and lonely nights wearing sunglasses and listening to the three Night Queens.

The best podcast for those strange days and lonely nights. Molly, Tess, and Emily are great hosts for exploring pop culture and some of their "spooky" fascinations such as the occult, outer space, and the paranormal. Definitely worth checking out!

I swear they did 4(!) disgusting episodes about mayonnaise and I can’t take it any more and I’m out. Can’t give it a low rating because it’s enjoyable and I’ve been a fan for a while. But GROSS WHY? I’m changing my rating to 1 star.

I was a huge fan of Girls in Hoodies and was so psyched that the podcast was basically back in the form of Night Call. It has a slightly creepier nighttime vibe and I am a fan.

I'm so glad that this reunion of the ol' Girls in Hoodies pod is just as clever, fun, chill, and interesting (and sometimes even spooky)! Also, I hope the murder board guy is okay.

Much quirkier and genuinely interesting and engaging than any of the cultural pods on the Ringer these days. Defies easy categorization, but always intelligent. Just listen for yourself.

I thought this would be like Art Bell and coast to coast based on the add. The first episode I heard was just all SJW nonsense. Not interested in lefty whining.

Only heard one ep but daaaaaamn, let the other women talk!!!

The latest episode, which ponders a physical space for the devil in a White Castle burger (among other things), is the best in a long line of conversations that weave the topical and timely interests of friends catching up with metaphysical inquiries, primordial paranoia, and the inescapable desire to know, in the loneliest of nights, if that is another voice you hear in the dark or just an echo.

This is my very favorite podcast. I was a closeted trans girl working in a warehouse alone at night and out of things to listen to, I decided to find out what the hell Girls in Hoodies was. A few years later, I’m out (and thriving!) and your podcast is one of a few things I have to thank. There’s something about the way you interact with one another, and the way you each carry yourselves, that helped embolden me to be my most authentic self, to “live my truth,” if you’ll excuse that colloquialism. I’ve been so thrilled that you’re back, all three of you. Like a comfort I’d forgotten I needed, and a forward-facing one too! Anyhow sorry for getting gushy, and, if you read this, I hope you know what I mean. Love, Amy
