    I’m a lifelong massive fan and never miss an episode of Winged Wheel podcast and Puck Soup. I really want to like this show bc I love the Wings but it’s honestly so dry and boring. Not a lot of personality in the hosts.

    Max and Prashanth are excellent hosts and have these thoughtful and measured conversations about all things Red Wings. Definitely helps keep you sane while the team rebuilds. They’re true consummate professionals.

    I don’t know a lot about hockey but I’ve always been a Red Wings fan. In a tough year like this one for the Wings, it’s been great listening to these two analyze the bright spots and give a realistic view on how close, or far, we are to contending again. They talk about some of the advanced metrics that are used to measure how well the team is playing too, so I feel like I’m learning when I listen. Highly recommended for Wings fans. I purchased an Athletic membership just to get the second weekly podcast from these guys and Max’s columns.

    Love the podcast! The guys have a great mix of perspectives from Max’s insight from inside the locker room to Prashanth explaining some of the new metrics that many of us aren’t well versed in. Thanks for the insight and keep up the great work!

    Only a couple episodes in but I’m hooked, this is by far the best Red Wings podcast I’ve heard. The insider point of view from Max plus the analysis of Prashanth is unrivaled. I’ve been a fan of Prasanth since his WIIM days and have been a subscriber to the athletic Detroit since day 1. Looking forward to listening to you guys twice a week! Keep up the great work!

    Great for 1 1/2 Speed
    Great information, but the monotones and uninterested delivery could cause one to drive into a ditch. I think these guys needs to go out for a beer so they can build some chemistry. Also, conversational transitions besides “yeah” or “yup” are a good note to work on. Looking forward to seeing improvements.
