    Here ye here ye!
5 stars all around from the best team in the business. Great show, banter and most importantly intermittent Kilchoman mentions! What’s not to love! Silver Spring has a lot of SCN fans!

    Top Padcost
“In a world….” where you have a queue of podcast episodes to catch up on, there are specific species of spectacular spitfires who specialize in spires of spirits and the wonders of whisky with whimsical wanderings and whirling wisps of warmth and wisdom, that brings the episode to the forefront, so that you can stay close to what they’re doing, thinking, and drinking. Such is this…chin-chin.

The rating scale is lacking stars
The padcost that rules them all. If you’re a real whisky geek, this is your go to place for anything that happens in this industry. I thoroughly enjoy listening to these gents. There’s always something new to learn - something to spark reflection - and ALWAYS great entertainment. Whether you’re relatively new in the field or if you’re a more seasoned whisky enthusiast the ‘ONUW’ podcast will (re)connect you with individuals that play or have played a significant role in shaping this fantastic community/industry. What’s not to love? Slainte!

    Padcast to End All Padcasts
What can one say about this particular padcast related to the going on within the whisky world and the worlds of Joshua and Jason of Single Cask Nation. There particular brand of humor, and easy going interview style makes it seem like you are always in on the joke, and that you are an insider to the whisky world they are a part of. Thier weekly podcasts (or should that be PadCast) are a must listen for me, and many other whisky drinkers. Here's to the two chins.

    Family road trip approved!
I discovered this podcast before a Spring Break road trip from OKC to ABQ, Tombstone, Tucson, Flagstaff, and back so naturally downloaded 2 years’ worth of episodes. It’s a great balance of banter, laughs, news, and industry info. Even my 11 and 13 year old daughters found it entertaining. (They said Jason and Joshua reminded them of the “Buzzfeed Unsolved” guys. 🤷‍♂️) Five stars!

    Joshua & Jason spark joy
Pure whiskey enjoyment, whether the informative side of extra extra or the feeling of being in the room for the interviews, I always find enjoyment and almost always learn something.

    One Nation Under Whisky
I started following the podcast after doing a swap with a friend who had the wonderful Port Charlotte bottling but found it too peaty. The podcast hits all the notes I am looking for serious yet not taking it too serious and informative. The humor displayed on the podcast is similar and I find myself sharing the link with friends. If you want an insider’s perspective into the whisky industry and be entertained listen to this podcast. Trevor W

Come for the Whisky, stay for the Banter
Two of the most knowledgeable and fun gents in the Whisky industry. You’ll learn a lot and have a ton of fun tuning in! And it’s not just whisky, they do a fantastic job of covering spirits in general. Really enjoyable.

    Awesome and Organic
Want to learn a lot about whisky? Want to hear some great jokes? Want to feel like you just hanging out with some friends? This podcast has it all. The hosts and their guests have a ton of information about whisky and the industry. I learn a cool new fact, or ten, each episode. They also somehow make everything seem so organic. Interviews feel like conversations instead of scripted, and when they are just chatting among themselves it all still feels fun and fluid like you are hanging out with some old friends.

    Insightful Insider Padcost
This is far and away the best whisky padcost out there. As industry insiders, J&J know the right questions to ask their guests and have a great rapport with them. Not only is it entertaining, but it’s very nerdy. This padcost lingers over the details and the technicalities. If you want to hear about yeast and fermentation times and copper contact it’s all here. The only way this padcost could be better is if they completed the worm tub episode.

    Long-listener, first-time reviewer
Joshua and Jason put out the best whisky podcast—and the best with an industry perspective. They’re pretty funny, too—especially if you like Lord of the Rings jokes. I heartily endorse this product and/or event.
  • BW in Big D
    THE absolute BEST whisky podcast.
Thought provoking and insightful whisky/industry knowledge hosted by two lovely chaps who also bottle the best single cask whiskies money can buy. I trust their palates above all others. Look no further for the best whisky podcast available.

Whisky education and bonus movie reviews
Come for the whisky knowledge, stay for the random movie reviews! Wildly entertaining every week. Nice work Joshua and Jason. I’ve learned a lot over the years about many lesser known distilleries. Keep it going!

    So Great
This padcost is fantastic. Jason and Joshua are both hysterically entertaining AND extremely knowledgeable whisky geeks. They get amazing guests and give great interviews. In one word the show is……..SMOOOOOTH!

Amazing Episode! Really great points made about trusting those who are serving and selling you a product. Signed up for the newsletter Joshua mentioned and bought the book Jason mentioned! Looking forward to learning more.

    Up my alley
I discovered SCN a few years ago when tasting whisky at Jack Rose in DC with a 5 year old Laphroaig. It was amazing. I joined the ranks of the Nation and recently started listening to the "padcost". I've never really been a podcast guy, but Joshua and Jason's knowledge, enthusiasm and humility, combined with my kind of sense of humor make this my go to. I'm right around their age, so all of their references are completely natural to me. I will warn of a danger to the bank account- I've already made several purchases based on listening to episodes (the Infrequent Flyers was challenging to an American, but I got it done). If you have even a passing interest in whisky, please don't pass this one up. You'll regret it!

    One of a kind!
There are a lot of whisky padcost and independant bottlers out there, but these guys have set themselves apart. What makes ONUW / SCN special is that these guys make you feel like family. I find myself yelling/laughing/talking to my phone in my daily communtes acting like I'm right with them! The care for the nation is real! It is very present in the community they've built and in the products they put forth. This padcost gives newcomers all the knowledge they need and the whisky nerds a chance to fulfill their deepest cravings (don't get dirty)! Keep up the great work and what you've built is well deserved! Cheers!

ONE (AWESOME) NATION UNDER (CRACKIN’) WHISKY
I’ve been listening to this podcast since its inception and would rate it higher than five stars if I could. (I should probably be banished from the Nation for not writing this review sooner). The podcast is good fun and education. Whisky nerds, you’ll love this podcast. Anyone interested in whisky and the spirits industry, you will learn A WHOLE LOT from it, and eventually after a few episodes you will become a whisky nerd ;-).

    Nerds!!!
Get nerdy with J&J. This podcast dives deep into the world of whisky, and it’s highly worth getting into if you want to learn more or just enjoy whisky in general. Because they’re such good friends, this pair of whisky geeks have a great dynamic as hosts.
  • Tam828

    Learn and laugh
The most entertaining and educational liquor focused podcast I’ve had the pleasure of following. Hosts are great, guests are great, what’s more could you want. I’ve learned a great deal listening to J&J, and looking forward to much more.
  • Mememormee
    Perfect fit for whisky geeks
I had known of Single Cask Nation from the Reddit whisk(e)y subs, but didn't realize the independent bottlers had a podcast. Turns out it's the whisky pod I've been searching for: a perfect blend of advanced whisky geekery, insider knowledge, and good-natured humor. Amazing interviews with distillers, bottlers and others in the industry. Miraculously, the marathon episodes never seem long enough.
  • BangArang6
    Excellent
I’ve been binging this podcast. I love it. So many awesome whisky nuggets of information in it. I’ve loved the interviews and the commentary on them. I look forward to going back through all their old episodes and their future ones. You guys are awesome

The more you know...the more you know you don't know!
I love this podcast and have to thank J&J for tunring me into a whisky geek in training. I have learned so much, and it seems every time I learn something new, it only opens up about 10 new questions! I once thought I knew a few things about whisky, but clearly as i listen to these fine gentleman I learn there is still so much more to learn! Keep up the great work and thank you for taking something I love and makeing it even more interesting!

As Unique as Jason and Joshua
Every podcast has a personality as unique as the individuals creating it. I've heard Joshua present his whiskies in small and large settings. Listening to it for the first time via S1Ep6, it was like having the two of them in my living room. Personal viewpoints, philosophy, tidbits of insider knowledge, and a few corny jokes for a bonus.
  • jvisger
    Enhance your whisky enjoyment
This a wonderful listening experience. It’s only made better enjoying the discussion with a dram of your favorite whisky. Cheers to Jason and Joshua for a job well done.

    Great Whisky Podcast
I started listening to this podcast during season 2 and enjoyed it so much I had to go back and listen to all of season 1 and the rest of season 2. It’s a great podcast with two guys who love whiskey and who can deliver material for the whisky nerd and the casual whisky fan.
  • Econn94133
    Couldn’t Be Better
I can’t say enough good things about this podcast. It is always a delight to put on my headphones and listen to Jason and Joshua (Joshua and Jason?) wax poetic poetic about whisk(e)y. I learn something new with every episode. I highly recommend.
  • Kivi0527
    Amazing!
I have been binging on the podcast since starting a new job with tons more driving. Thank God I have hours of this amazing podcast to listen to getting me through otherwise monotonous drives. I am learning a ton and may have to venture from my safety in bourbon to some scotches. Cheers mates!

    The Best Whisky Podcast
This is the best podcast for those who love whisky. If your looking for a podcast to expand your knowledge of whisky, this is the one. Many interviews with distillers and others within the whisky industry. The passion of the two hosts is truly infectious. Cheers.

    Single cask delivers!
Good stuff. These fellows are first rate and a pleasure to deal with.
  • Chad Robinson
    A long and lovely listen
I frequently chide Jason and Joshua about how long their podcast runs, but even if it takes me three weeks to finish an episode, I wouldn’t want to miss one minute of their delightful banter about Whisky. They have great, wide-ranging interviews with industry luminaries and always manage to keep the conversations fun and informative. Though a whiskey and podcast pairing is not yet a common trend, this podcast is best enjoyed with a dram, so plan accordingly.

    BEST PODCAST FOR WHISKY NERDS
My love for this podcast and these 2 hosts is as deep as the penetration of a new make spirit seeping inside a brand-new charred oak barrel during a hot kentucky summer.

    The best whisk(e)y podcast available!
I've been binging this podcase for the last few days. Joshua and Jason are simply the best. They understand the whisk(e)y industry (however you choose to spell it) and they understand whisky drinkers. There is truly something for everyone on this podcast. If you consider yourself a whisky geek, do yourself a favor, listen to the podcast, join Single Cask Nation, and then drink with them at one of their whisky festivals. You will be happy you did. I cannot give them a higher review as iTunes only allows 5 stars.
  • Nate Arnold
    Fantastic podcast
This is a great podcast, and anyone who says otherwise is a LIAR :) Seriously, Joshua and Jason have a great banter, and I have really enjoyed every episode so far. SCN really seems to be doing things right and this podcast is an extension of that. Cheers!!

I'm relatively new to the world of whisky and hungry to learn everything I can about the industry and all things whisky. I recently attended a tasting in Norfolk MA expertly lead by Joshua so I'm not surprised that the podcast is equally informative and entertaining.
  • Dr Progress
Listening is like hanging with friends who share your passion for whisky.
Joshua and Jason's friendly banter on the One Nation Under Whisky podcast is almost as good as hanging out with them at their fantastic Whisky Jewbilee. Their approach to whisky is obviously inspired by love, curiousity and fun.
  • TammySp
    Thoroughly enjoying this podcast
I'm relatively new to the world of whisky, so I welcome the chance to learn all I can. This podcast is fun and informative, and I enjoy Joshua and Jason's collaboration immensely. Looking forward to more learning with these two!
