roseyanna777So helpfulI started listening and it gave great ideas to help your horseโs and even yourself! Mosie is funny and inspirational, she gets along with all her guests that give expert advice that is very useful! Also, I was very touched by Elleโs story, it is so sad, I just want to say that Elleโs story would be hard to share and am very grateful that Mosie shared it!

ArlaMarchellaChanged the way I view horsemanshipWow, this podcast is so inspirational. It takes me back to that intuitive feeling I had as a child about the nature of horses, but learned to ignore. Mosie takes a unique approach to horsemanship stemming from compassion, understanding, and respect for the horse in her true nature. Since tuning into this podcast I have complely transformed the way I view and interact with my horses. Thank you, thank you, thank you Mosie for being so true to yourself and bringing these truths into the world. Can't wait for the next season.

young horse wisperYoung horse whisperIโm a horse lover and I understand all of this and if you get a new horse wild or not let it know you first and then train it in a free way. I have a new name for you Mosie Trewhitt for a wild horse name it Flicka it means beautiful young girl (peaceful ruler)! From the movie flicka. If you sing shush a bye donโt you cry go to sleepy little baby when you wake you shall have all the little horses black and paint song in a nice cool quiet voice they will be more comfortable.

gemmarathBeautiful and daringI am new to horsemanship and wanted to listen to a podcast between lessons to educate myself as much as possible. I chose this one at random and couldnโt be more thrilled! I never new liberty training was a thing, and it fits right in with my principles and love of animals. Then the show comes with a healthy serving of soul searching! Highly recommend!

A M B 13Precisely What I NeededAs a student of the horse in both my personal life as well as professional, I found this podcast to be precisely what I needed. Each morning during my commute to work I indulge in an episode. I find myself nodding my head alongside of shared beliefs and engaging my curiosity around the new ideas that are presented in such a refreshingly non-threatening way. After every episode I feel so touched that Mosie and all the other women who speak on her show have the courage to be vulnerable for us listeners and the horses we love. Thanks to this podcast Iโve utilized so many things but Iโm most grateful for the language for feelings Iโve sat with unable to put words to, assurance that Iโm not alone in my struggles as a horsewomen, a deeper sense of individualized whole horse care, and greater horse listening skills. With my deepest gratitude for your devotion to this podcast, Ariana

blackhorsewimanSupportMosieโs podcast, my best trainer in the world, Freya Sturm, Robyn Hood, Christine Swartz, and Lady, Skjoni, Tinna, Brimi, Elska and Sali have all, along with others, changed my life and helped me learn and re-learn what I knew as a child. The joy of horses and other animals lies in our ability to listen and learn from them. We can and do communicate with them. What and how we do that needs to be living and thoughtful. Iโm eternally grateful for my teachers.

Holly (faithful.warrior)Beauuuuuutiful!! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธMosie is a forerunner of more natural, horse-conscientious horse care and training. Listening to her experiences and the invaluable knowledge she and her guests bring us is refreshing and thought-provoking. This type of horsemanship is the kind that I pursue as much as possible myself, and being from Massachusetts, it can feel a little lonely at times. Iโve definitely met some amazing, beautiful horsepeople over here in the East, but there truly are so many traditional barns around here not really looking to make a change. Sometimes it feels lonely and discouraging to not have a group of like-minded people to be encouraged and inspired by, but THIS podcast. THIS. PODCAST. Holy moly, it simply feels like coming home! Whenever Mosieโs wonderful voice comes through my car speakers, I get a massive dose of encouragement and feeling like Iโm part of a community that places the horses wants and needs first! Itโs amazing! I want to thank Mosie so, so much for all her work, for listening to the horse, and for including us in her wonderful, inspiring life! Iโve learned so much from her! And the guests she brings on present the most amazing concepts and insight that I eat up like a crazy hungry walrus or something! Okay, weird visualization, but thatโs how I feel! ๐ Iโve fangirled like a hundred times over the big names she has included on the podcast! Gives me shivers, it does! ๐ So if you havenโt listened to it yet (and if you somehow made it to the end of this long review), listen to this glorious podcast!!!!! You will absolutely love it! THANK YOU, MOSIE!!! โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

Paige Dani BLife-changing โค๏ธI cannot express how grateful I am to have found this podcast. I recently bought a horse with the intention of showing. I was thrown off a few times and figured I needed to discover his spirit and really learn who he is before attempting to ride again. Now that Iโve listened to 20+ episodes, Iโve developed an incredible bond with him and he has taught me more than I could have ever imagined. This podcast, Mosie, and all of her guests have completely changed the way I see my horse partner and myself. I no longer care about riding and have let go of all expectations. I cannot wait to see where this beautiful journey takes us and it would not have been possible without this podcast (seriously). Iโm inspired to create a likeminded group in Salt Lake and hope to attend many of Mosieโs clinics. Mosie- you are truly touching the lives of so many people and have made a difference in more ways than youโll ever know. Thank you!

MojogomoComing home to yourselfMosie is so wise. Her wisdom always shines through these podcasts. I love this conversation with Minea, sharing ideas about being enough, about how re-wilding is the equivalent of coming home to yourself. I pondered that for an hour long walk and will continue to as it sinks in after so many years of complying. As someone new to unstructured play with horses, I would have loved to have heard Minea describe more specifically what that looks like for her and her horses. Great podcast!

E-R-J-3Wild wisdom from the horseThis podcast has incredible wisdom not only for working with our horses but also for getting more in touch with our own human bodies and intuition. Each episode is like an awakening, I learn more about horsemanship and myself. Thank you mosie for sharing your wisdom! @lixxie22

Coyote RoseLove it beyond words! But let me attempt to use words to tell you why: Mosie is awesome. She is REAL and her authenticity and compassion are evident in every story, example, suggestion, or conversations she shares. Her friends and guests are awesome.(and seriously, where are these kinda horsewomen hiding?! Can we start a wild woman horse gang please?) Horses are awesome, and these women understand how and why on a whole other level. I have loved horses my entire life, but only became the caretaker of my own majestic mustang 1 year ago. I have long felt there is a special kind of magic that flows between woman and horse, perhaps because we have so much in common, as this podcast touches on. I was determined to unlock this magic for myself. I wanted to practice โnatural horsemanshipโ, to train and ride liberty, to be able to communicate with Clover through body language and mutual understanding. I had high hopes for us galloping off into the sunset, tackless and free, communing with Rhiannon herself. Instead, I spent the last year feeling more or less rejected by my gorgeous mare, who clearly understands her job and my own inexperience, and hasnโt any qualms about using either to her advantage. I was frustrated by my inadequacy and exasperated every time I felt I was not really โin controlโ (which is often). Iโve read all the books. Worked with great trainers. Watched hours of YouTube tutorials. It wasnโt until binging every available episode of this podcast that something finally clicked on its own accord. And Iโm embarrassed to admit itโs taken me this long for my perspective to shift. Listening to Mosie made me realize it is not all about ME. Nor is it about maintaining the illusion of control (which for me has been tied to self-worth and ultimately, fear...aaah how often work with horses becomes the mirror through which other life patterns come into sharp relief...), or the quest to become a selfless horse priestess/whisperer. This relationship is about allowing Clover to be herself. To be a horse. And to allow myself to be the innocent girl I once was. The one who trusted each and every horse she met with all her heart and looked at them with eyes that were able to see the magic which came NOT from anything I did or didnโt do in relation to the training, but from our very presence together in this place and time; two divine souls, sharing space, delighted in simply BEING. Effortless. Grateful. Mosie made me see that Clovers rewilding actually goes hand in hand with my own. After Iโd listened to every episode, I went out and apologized to Clover for the many mistakes I have made since sheโs joined our family. That day, for the first time ever, she chose being with me over being with her food, leaving her hay bale (despite it being lunch time), to instead follow me around the yard like a gorgeous shadow as I went about my work. I kid you not. I almost cried. The ONLY thing I had done differently was listen to this podcast. Iโm convinced it transmuted my energy, which Clover has picked up on. The subtlest shift has led to the most heartening and exciting results. I am so excited to continue to hear what Mosie has to share with the horse world. And I know the horses are grateful as well. Thank you thank you thank you. I just canโt recommend this podcast enough! <3

robi5671Life long learnerI love being challenged on conventional thanking and how it relates to our horses. This podcast helps me to continue to learn and grow to become a better horse person but also have a grace with myself and others along the way.

Chloe & WonderLove Mosies Thought Process and View On LifeI started riding about a year ago and after being taken from horses from about the age of 5/6 until now I took the cheapest and closest option for lessons and didnโt necessarily take the horses well being into consideration. This barn was a saddleseat barn, very strict, very negative reinforcement based and not in humane ways all the time. Many horses were very spooky, very nervous and very much just shells of something that once was very beautiful internally. I left that barn after about 6 months when I truly caught on to the negativity the trainer and volunteers gave off during grooming, tack up and especially riding. I was told very often to โkick harderโ, โpull the reins harderโ, โdemand and show them whoโs bossโ or โtheyโre taking advantage of youโ and I really always struggled to listen to them, taking that approach with horses has never felt right to me. I switched barns. The one Iโm doing lessons for now is decently better but Iโm still struggling to get my trainer to understand my view point and where Iโm trying to take my riding and horsemanship as a whole. Iโm giving her another chance since Iโm now doing lessons on my own horse and feel a lot more confident and capable of saying no or simply not doing what sheโs telling me if she says to use more pressure or be more aggressive. Iโm to a point where Iโm seriously thinking of just dropping lessons as a whole and figuring things out on my own with my lovely creature. Heโs an 11 year old saddlebred/Arabian (and possibly quarter horse?), who was used mainly as a trail horse but had some negative experience with a boarder at the barn he used to live at. She was a jumper who switched to dressage and was one of his more frequent riders. Upon meeting my horse, Wonder, anytime I was working with him before our move, heโd change the second she was in our general vicinity. Because of this I feel that she was harsh with him. I use a whip sometimes at liberty when asking for cues, but during my first liberty session with him he would fast canter or even at times full on gallop away from me if I even lifted up the whip from its hanger. He is my very first real horse, as in I truly own and care for him, but heโs forcing me to shift my mindset when it comes to horsemanship in and out of the saddle. Iโve found that if heโs punished at all in even the smallest ways, heโs generally more likely to not even listen when Iโm asking something of him. When we first started he was very head shy; Iโd try to pet his face or even simply put on a halter and heโd get away however he could, now heโs such a loving guy. Thereโs definitely times he doesnโt want his face touched but more often heโs resting his face on my fiancรฉ or myself and sometimes even leans into scratches and strokes. He slips his nose into bridles and halters and most days is a very easy catch; even waiting at the gate the second Iโm in his sight. None of his progress would have occurred if it wasnโt for positive reinforcement and just spending time with him. We had a hangout session before I moved him where I sat in his paddock for nearly two hours waiting for him to come to me so we could go into the arena together. When he finally did he was praised and scratched and given treats. Entering the arena I think he felt like he was in for a hard workout and lots of demand because he didnโt want to go in but eventually he did and I just took off the halter and lead and we walked together. At first he wasnโt sure whether or not he wanted to follow but at the end if I ventured off to the opposite side of the arena without him noticing; when he did notice he was speed walking to me. Itโs very hard for me to shift my entire thought process when my foundation was strictly โdemand and if they donโt respond, forceโ so listening to your podcasts has helped me so much in trying my best to understand Wonders wants and needs. I do still use pressure and release since Iโm new to training as a whole but VERY new to positive reinforcement, but my goal for myself is to get to a place where Iโm coming into the barn without plans, asking him what we should do and just really hearing him. Humans and horses are not meant to be a leader and slave or worker relationship, theyโre meant to be friendships and partnerships. I started listening to your podcasts only about 3/4 days ago and I only have a couple more to catch up on (I might be a bit obsessed) but Elleโs story, your conversation on if horses can truly love and your conversation with Margrit Coates just really spoke to me. Iโve been feeling so full of love from my horse even on the days where he decides he doesnโt want to do what Iโm asking. I feel Iโm starting to hit a breakthrough point and accepting that Wonder also has feelings, wants and needs and that respecting that, giving no frustration or force is of utmost importance. Thank you so so much for your beautiful thought process and respect and love for horses. I hope to someday be as peaceful and understanding as you but until then Iโll continue doing my best to get there regardless of whatever setbacks or complications get thrown at me in life and as a horsewoman. Iโd really love to hear more on your story of how you got to where you are with horses and the process you go through when starting liberty and freedom of choices with new horses.

hhoneybbSo glad to have a spiritual horsey podcast! So wonderful this exists! Just hearing the theme music makes me breathe more deeply. I love the content and find myself thinking about episodes days afterwards. The only thing is the pacing can be a little slow and the host tends to repeat herself and get lost in the stories, some structure could make the episodes more powerful as a narrative and less like a casual conversation. But thatโs just my perspective! This might shift naturally with more experience. Looking forward to more! ๐

NicNoNiLove it!Loving what you have to say! Great stuff!

UrchelllllJust what I neededI've been following Mosie on instagram for a while now and love watching her with her horses but for me spoken word can really drive the point home. Going from being a traditional equestrian to learning about liberty horsemanship and equine assisted psychotherapy this podcast has already given me so much food for thought and both reaffirmed and made me question what I think, feel and believe about horses. โค๏ธ

mycofloralIncredibly loving and thoughtful podcastThese are the conversations about equines Iโve always wanted to hear. Mosie is a great leader of an up and coming niche in horse(wo)manship that will change the horse world. Thank you for this!!!

AlyssaโฆINCREDIBLE!This podcast is like nothing you will ever find anywhere else. Iโm only into episode 2 and I can tell you right now the topics that are touched on are so thought provoking. Mosie ask her guest questions I feel many of us in the Equestrian world think about. She also has connections to so many wonderful women who have so many stories to share. It feels like your in the room just listening to one anotherโs stories and seeing what everyone has to bring to the table. This is more than just a podcast to an Equestrian, these are lessons to be learned and questions to be asked things that will perhaps change your life. ๐

BLM37Can't wait to hear more! When I found out this podcast was being produced I was SO excited, and so far it does not disappoint! Mosie has a lovely speaking voice and is well balanced in her approach to the topics she presents. Anyone who cares about the wellbeing of the horse or about their relationship with their own horses will benefit from listening to this podcast.
