This is a great podcast for those just getting started in writing their first books. (Like me). I am learning a ton and improving how I think about and approach my first book. Keep it coming!

I never really had the time to sit down and write since I'm a full time college student and i work an internship. This podcast not only made me become a better writer in easing the ability of transforming my thoughts into text, but also taught me how to manage my time so that i could make space in my daily schedule for writing nonfiction. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get into writing whether in the business world or for the sole pleasure of mastering academic writing.

After listening to only a few podcasts I’ve been both inspired and convinced I need to take my writing seriously. I’ve been blogging for over 6 years and for one reason or another never felt I could make it as a writer and that I could never publish anything of enough value to sell. Writer on the Side has convinced me otherwise through the inspiration stories, strategies, and tactics Hassan shares on his podcast. I’ll be recommending this podcast to everyone who is even considering writing a book.

Excellent book and very helpful and to the point podcast

I used to write in high school and college for both my school and city newspapers, and I've always wanted to write a non-fiction book. So, I was searching for a podcast when I found this one. Its always so hard to find the time to research and write. I'm really glad I found this podcast. Maybe 2019 will be my year to finally write that book I've been thinking about for over a decade.

I believe everyone has a story and therefore, everyone has at least one book inside. Except, as Hassan recognizes, life gets in our way. That's where this show comes. Hassan has written several books while holding a full-time job and raising a family, and he has learned some great tips and tricks for overcoming your writing hurdles and getting your book done! This is the podcast I didn’t know I needed. Since a young age, teachers and friends have said I should write a book, but I always shrugged it off. While I enjoyed writing, the thought of writing hundreds of pages was more than daunting. Writer on the Side breaks down all of the necessary steps for first-time novelists, and alleviates any anxiety that comes with getting started. I think this show will give me a great excuse to add "write a book" to my New Year's resolutions!

Came across Hassan Osamn Podcast by happenstance, and I am grateful I did. Hassan is loaded with a ton of pratical information that I found extremely helpful. His approach is like you are sitting across the table from him over a cup of coffee. I just recently wrote my first non-fiction book an honestly can say I wish I found his inforamtion prior. Hassan confirmed what I did well and helped me to identify some issues I had trouble with, and will need to address for my second book. Looking forward to more gold nuggets !

If you’ve ever though about writing a book I highly suggest starting with Hassan’s book and podcast. I’m half-way through writing my first book and I couldn’t have gotten this far without Hassan’s straight forward message and easy to steps.
