    Good but not great
Solid podcast with knowledgeable guests. The only downsides are it can get a little corporate (corporations and ff companies are not climate champions) and the sound engineering! It can be so quiet I can’t listen unless I’m in a silent room. I have multiple pairs of headphones but none of them go loud enough to actually listen to this specific podcast out on a walk or on the bus (I don’t have this issue with any of my other podcasts).

Enjoy this oil and gas apologist podcast!
Y’all cannot imagine how a forest can hold carbon, but can imagine how oil companies can use DAC to “accelerate the climate movement.” Look inward. Challenge people. Be better.

    excellent breadth of guests
wonderful, timely show that introduces many players in a wide and varied field. and excellent way to learn what is happening in the world of carbon sequestration.

Smart and interesting - thank you!
Full of good information, scientific but not dry, smart and also modest, interesting guests and an absolutely critical topic. Thank you

    This podcast is AMAZEBALLS!
I binge-listen to this and the Reversing Climate Change podcast. What an incredible way to launch a company - create an EPIC podcast! If you are tired of the climate gloom, this will help you hope again.

    Succinct, Cutting Edge CarbonTech Insights
As a startup creating a blockchain-based marketplace for removing CO2 from the atmosphere, Nori is perfectly poised to cast their net widely and present succinctly stated, cutting edge insights into the rapidly evolving Carbon Tech/Carbon Removal arena. This podcast is a perfect way to learn a lot in a short amount of time, feel inspired, and more hopeful for our future.
  • SeeJustinRun
    Short and Informative
I started with the sister podcast Reversing Climate Change and enjoyed it enough to continue tuning in, even as someone that doesn’t typically listen to podcasts. Carbon Removal Newsroom is similar in theme, but the shorter format makes it perfect for my drive to work or when I don’t have time to commit to a full length podcast. It’s great for being introduced to new people or organizations, which I can then look up myself later.

    Fun Sized Climate News Podcast!
Like the short news format of this show. It reminders me of Planet Money & The Indicator. It’s timely and keeps me informed without a big time commitment
  • Four Eyed Monsters
Best podcast I have found. Ever.
Because not only is it specialized on a topic that I’m on board to learn about but you get the sense that this podcasting existing can really make a difference in the outcome of carbon capture. And listening, although requiring some electricity, is actually a carbon negative act since the knowledge that you get out of each episode can fold into what you do and the messages and information you reverberate into the world which will eventually cause more carbon to be removed from the air than the act of having listened to the podcast. (Even if listening while driving a gas car and eating a burger and drinking a milkshake with a plastic straw.)

Great addition to the longer podcast
I listen to Nori's full-length podcast without fail, and I've enjoyed the addition of this news-oriented podcast to keep updated on current carbon removal benefits. Do yourself a favor and subscribe to both!
  • Michael Hart L
Love the short format on the latest news
Great companion podcast to Nori's long form podcast (Reversing Climate Change). The Carbon Removal Newsroom disucces recent news and research specifically in the world of removing CO2 from the atmosphere and oceans. Episodes are generally around 12-15 minutes long so great for a short commute.
  • jcarrollh
    Vital podcast
Excellent coverage of a central issue that everyone assumes, directly or implicitly, is necessary, but very few people are talking about in a systematic publicly accessible way.
  • Polar Bear 823
    Super informative
I have been searching for something like this for awhile and I'm glad Nori is doing such a great job of putting together carbon removal news. Thank you!
  • G. Roshan
    The best perspective
Upbeat, entertaining and the perfect length for busy people. Nori are pioneering a perspective on climate that regular news channels fail to deliver daily. Listen, learn and get inspired by what is possible right now. I couldn't recommend it more highly!
  • Sapphire_Jones
    Awesome!
This is a great addition to Nori’s podcast slate. I like the length and the news covered is both vitally important and engaging for environmentalists who may want more options than just the predictable mainstream narrative. I also admire how responsive Nori is to listener feedback. Keep up the good work!
