Great guests, but I struggle with the host
I haven’t found a podcast with such high caliber, accomplished guests within the tech industry. I’ve been listening since the early days and still listen; however, I’ve always hoped Joubin would develop more as an interviewer. He clearly does his research and has now had such intimate access to so many successful individuals, but he regularly interjects with personal stories, opinions, and commentary that takes away from the focus, the guest. The delta between his professional experience and these guests is more than significant, and it comes out when guests seem to regularly redirect back to a relevant topic. I’ve also noticed that he seems to often miss great opportunities to go deeper into a guest response by asking a second order question, yet he jumps to the next, unrelated question. All in all, I’m always impressed with the guests, but I wish the interviewer would work harder to take the back seat more often.

    Useful content
Interviewer has annoying habit of asking 3-4 questions in a row, which detracts from interviewees’ answers

    Great discussions.
Only call out is that it’s very much white men skewed….

If you like biography of entrepreneurs you’ll like grit
One of the best podcasts in my library (top 3) he does a great job of interviewing business leaders. I like it because it’s mainly CRO and CEO. But mostly because I love biographies of entrepreneurs and hearing their stories and struggles of how the built companies. This is similar and a great insight into how top execs think and live

    Amazing Insights
There is no better place to go for amazing sales and scaling insights but also business concepts and advice on the whole. Joubin asks great questions and also definitely has a voice for podcasts (unclear if he has a face for podcasts as well). Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to accelerate their career.

    Run!
Loved the podcast with Scott Incorta on running a company and everything in between, I just finished reading Peak Performance and there are some clear parallels between the demands such responsibilities hold... as well as parallels between the subsequent opportunities. Great info on managing it all!

    Ignore At Your Own Peril
This podcast has a good mix of leaders and lessons from early stage companies to house-hold tech brands. Other podcasts tend to recruit the helmet (big brand), not the talent. I am more intrigued by talent that has succeeded in spite of not having a big brand behind them and this show has more of that. Joubin recently asked a leader about the in-between unsuccessful stops and why they were unsuccessful and short. I loved that because that is real and will help people identify similar situations and how to better navigate. Not every career move is a home-run.

I was in an end of quarter slump and running an early stage sales team. This has been eye opening and genuinely provides encouragement :)

    Well Worth Your Time
Outstanding podcast! The content is highly relevant and applicable, and the guests are fantastic and well-experienced. Joubin does a great job moving past the fluff quickly and getting to the heart of what makes a sales leader and a GTM organization highly successful. This is a must-listen for any technology operator or investor, whether directly involved in day to day GTM or not.

    Highly Recommend!!
I started listening to this podcast a few months ago and found it to be very insightful (it made my list of recurring podcasts). I think Joubin does a great job of humanizing the topics and digging into relatable content. I’ve typically jotted down 1-2 takeaways an episode and try to make sure I’m applying some of the best practices of other sales leaders to my own professional / personal life. Very unique / strong lineup of executives to learn from. Highly recommend

    Phenomenal interviews
This is one of the best shows I’ve listened to. Joubin does an excellent job of relating to guests and diving into some of the non-obvious parts of their professional journey. I’ve learned a lot from these episodes. Thanks for the great interviews!

Learned a lot in 1 hr!
Really enjoyed the episode with Dan Shapero from LinkedIn! The host sets a relaxed tone from the beginning, and the hour flew by with an honest and enlightening back and forth. Great for a drive or background work noise. Will keep listening to this podcast...can’t wait to see who they get next!

    Super helpful advice
Love the GTM focus of this podcast! There is a lot of startup advice out there on all kinds of topics but it’s great to see a podcast from a well-respected source on a lesser-talked about area. This will help so many founders. Highly recommend a listen!
