Signals to Danger - Railway disasters in the UK

0

The UK's rail network is one of the safest in the world, but this is a reputation that has been hard-won through a dark history of death and destruction. Each of these accidents has helped to prevent another in the future. Signals to Danger is a series of Podcasts exploring and explaining the worst disasters on the UK rail network. Using reports, inquiries, news articles and first hand accounts, we will dive deep into these accidents and understand what went wrong, who was effected and how each incident went on to change the railway going forwards. Fascinating, gripping, and well-researched!
I love this podcast! Super interesting, fact-filled episodes about rail accidents and rail safety info. Well-written and fast-paced. Dan’s voice is so soothing, even when discussing a difficult subject like rail crashes. I listen at night, but end up falling asleep so I have to rewind multiple times because I missed too much. Thanks, Dan!

    A Podcast on Rail Accidents?
Sounds boring, right? Only because you haven’t listened. When things go wrong, it’s in spite of tens of thousands of smart people who really care doing their best for generations to make rail travel perfectly safe. When it still goes wrong, the reasons are fascinating.

    Really cool and really interesting!
Someone on Reddit recommended this show to me, and I am glad they did. The detail and knowledge is top notch and the narrator is really pleasant to listen too. I will definitely be listening to more.
