You owe it to yourself to listen to this
IF you've ever heard yourself saying, "That's fascinating," this podcast is for you. I've listened to every episode, and only one or two have been anything but fascinating. They're all well-researched and well-written. Once you've listened to an episode, you're entirely justified in feeling superior to anyone who knows only the basic facts about the subject covered. I particularly recommend "Genuine Fakes" and the one about what "sports" were part of the first Olympics. My rating: 6 stars out of 5.

    So good!
Every episode illuminates a “dark path” in history previously unknown or untouched. The research and writing make the podcast worth listening to. Every single episode, l learn something new about history that I can’t believe I’ve gone my whole life without hearing. Who knew that the Nazis secretly built a flying saucer or that Elmer Mcurdy’s corpse was accidentally used as a movie prop?

    Excellent Listen for History Buffs
MF Thomas masterfully tells the story of the evolution of non-plane aircraft and zeppelins in episode 1. What stands out to me is that no detail was spared but I was captivated from start to finish. The storytelling was a well paced and a great deal of research was clearly done to ensure that there was no over-simplification of the story. Can’t wait for more episodes!

    Fantastic Break from Normalcy
Loved the Podcast MF! Great break from the current Groundhog Day we seem to be living in. I never would have thought you could keep my attention telling stories about Airships, but well done! Especially when I initially thought the Podcast was on Led Zeppelin and then I come to find out it was on Von Zeppelin! 😉

This podcast invokes a sense of adventure as it provides a glimpse into history. The information presented in the first episode feels like the base for a factual Clive Cussler novel. If you are fascinated by history and the backstory of significant events, this podcast is for you!
