Slow Japanese has been really helpful for me as someone who is a beginner that has been accumulating vocab and grammar, but still doesn’t have an ear for understanding spoken Japanese. Akari’s episodes are really well tailored for this early level of skill development both in the very slow but clear delivery, and the length that seems really short but is plenty for the brand new listener. Working through the podcasts by listening, then reading the transcript, then listening with the transcript, then listening again has been really helpful.
