    Stories not in depth history
The voice is clearly AI generated and there are often errors in the historical facts. Not every battle is a turning point or significant. Scant details on the battle, units involved, casualties, timelines of the battle, etc. The “voice” provided over-inflated descriptions of the generals or admirals involved. It is as if the AI did the research and the voice, with neither being good. So far, all I listened to were stories hidden amongst sparse facts and verbose statements. Would definitely find another podcast to listen to.

    Voice
The stories are spot on according to me like the scripts where written by historians but the narrator needs to speak with a little feeling 3.5/5

Whoever does the writing needs a little work. Not every sentence needs to be some super super theatrical phrase. I heard the word “underscored” about 7 times in maybe 5 mins. The amount of times the battle was described as “a turning point” was a little over bearing. It would got on to describe and aspect of the battle and then finish the thought with “which made the battle of the Bismarck sea a turning point”. Story’s are good but it just needs better writing.

The stories are good but with the same 2 words over and over again. The voice also sounds like it’s literally AI generated (no offense)

    Just being honest
Voice is DEFINITELY AI generated. Using words that could easily be subbed out for more simple descriptive words. Sorry not a fan would not recommend.

    This is terrible
Either this is an AI generated podcast or my man needs to learn to talk like a human. Zero emotion, sounds like a robot reading a 9th grade history paper.

Read by an AI voice, not a real person
I don’t want to listen to WW2 stories as told by a robot who can’t pronounce mein kampf

    Who bought him a thesaurus
This podcast suffers from wanting every sentence to be theatrical. If a short word would work and be clear they skip it in favor of the word of the day flowery language. The story could be shorter and more easily understood if they just wrote the way normal people speak. WWII has plenty of drama without you trying to use super dramatic language, clarity over creativity. I’m working on my doctorate so it’s not that I don’t understand the language it is just laughable and exhausting to Listen to.

Written Like a 7th Grader trying to Reach a Word Count
I’m sure these guys are enthusiastic about what they do, but in the one episode I listened to they picked three meaningless phrases and repeated them over and over again “determination was in their eyes” , “their resolve was strengthened”, “aftermath echoed all over the world”. The writing is nothing but vague description and empty platitudes. There is no specificity about the differing engagements or maneuvers of the opposing forces during the course of a battle. Poorly researched and poorly written

It’s not a voice at all
Narration is computerized voice. Only off putting on certain words or phrases. Voice puts me to sleep, so can’t comment on content.

    Sorry
Your voice not that bad like every one says but some of these stories aren’t true I whould know I’m a ww2 person

    Meh
The voice (No offense meant) is just not suitable for the topic, but I love the stories themselves

    Choppy audiobook, skip this one.
It feels like listening to a chopped up audiobook. There is no personal narrative from soldiers like I was expecting. The editing is also very scrappy which leaves you feeling like you skipped ahead or hit fast forward by accident.
