    Thank you!
My grandfather was a navigator/bombardier on B-24 in the same group. He passed away when I was young, so I didn’t have the chance to ask him about the war. I have always wondered what his experience was like. The show and podcast have given me so much insight in to what he went through. Thank you for sharing this important history, and showing what life was like in the air and as a POW. My grandfather was captured on his third mission. Please keep telling these stories.

After watching the episode, I’ll listen to this podcast before watching the episode again. The podcast addresses many facets of the show from filming casting, and research. Along the way, you will hear the insights of the producers, writers, and actors. Highly recommended.

Perfect Timing for Americans To Remember What Freedom Means
I’m listening to the podcast as I haul around and repot hood-sized trees. I lose myself in the stories of what those guys endured. I’ve never considered democracy and freedom gifts; we need to fight for them and this time in history is sickening. Insurrectionists, Trump who ridicules people who served, who hates the people who think he’s such a gem, people who refuse to educate themselves or challenge conspiracies… All are black marks on the scorecard and history will not judge them kindly. They wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes in a B-17.

    Bombs Away!
I’m listening to the Masters of the Air podcast. Well done. Thank you for a remarkable series. Good conversations, interviews and writing about chaos, context, history and warriors. Reflecting on your work…I produced a podcast series, “The Silver King’s War,” about my father’s Second World War as a B-26 Bombardier. He was First Lieutenant Stanley L. Silverfield, flying in the nose of a Martin Marauder for the 9th Air Force. Thank you. Michael G. Sievers Writer, Producer

    Thank you, Tom Hanks.
Your movies honor those who have served and educate those who have not. Visualizing what my uncle experienced as a paratrooper on D-Day and what my father experienced as a B-17 waist gunner in the 8thAF have offered me such a greater appreciation of their sacrifices. Thank you for using your talent to make such meaningful productions.
