MRWLANo JusticeThanks Tony for covering so well, you were my favorite on this. I didn’t care for Motto, I really can’t believe he doesn’t think she hit him? I will double down on this with complete certainty she hit him, maybe didn’t realize, but she knows she did and put on a circus and destroyed lives, I believe Karma will come.

Russell MarxGaucheClaiming to be a truth teller seeking justice but hosting a podcast where you use a woman’s likeness, slander her mental fitness, and pretty much are cashing in on one of the worst nights of her life is exactly why many people are turned off by the true crime industrial complex. I think the layperson could’ve found reasonable doubt to Karen Read’s case or could reasonably think she was overcharged, should not have gone to trial. This appears lost on this ‘expert’. Listen to actual people who understand law on the Read-O’Keefe trial. John O’Keefe still deserves justice, law enforcement and investigators failed him.

rrkkthompsonRandom photo on coverWhat is this bizarre AI image? Is it supposed to portray Karen Read? And you added blood on her face? Impossible to take this podcast seriously.

truecrimedivaThank youTony, I enjoy your podcasts. Mainly, I’ve listened to the Karen Read episodes. I thank you for your directness on how ridiculous the conspiracy theory is in the Karen Read matter. I believe she hit him - maybe just manslaughter. There are too many people in this country who are ready to jump on a conspiracy theory. While the police made major mistakes, there is clear and convincing evidence that she hit JOK (timeline, phone temperature). I guess seeing all of her different stories in interviews, which maybe the jury did not see, also convince me she did it whether she meant to or not. And as you said, she was saying it was an accident until AJ got involved and thought up a diversion with the people in the house. Just sad for JOK’s family and disappointed in the police that worked the case.

feedbackjonzeContortionist TheaterSeems very biased, they don’t seem to take all evidence into account. Might listen to another episode if she is found not guilty to listen to them moan about jurors as opposed to thinking. Update: Show is more enjoyable after sh was found not guilty. No introspection, or logic from the hosts. Just moaning about social media.

Nononono5555555Not Guilty :)Not guilty - that means he went into the house (duh)!
-
LaRaza11Not reportingAll based on biased opinions without any experts or facts
-
Laura YBiased CommentaryDon’t bother listening to Tony’s daily biased commentary, although the trial proceedings were interesting. It actually wasn’t too shocking that she won but you just never know!
-
BeccsleeRoad Less TraveledIt is always heartening to see that some people are willing to take the arguably more difficult road, in order to stay true to themselves and what they believe in. All you FKR’s who came here to post a negative review: are you aware that Tony originally thought Karen was innocent, then changed his mind based on the evidence? Anyway I enjoy this podcast and highly recommend it! Great guest appearances and interviews also.

Ughhhhhhhhhhh101TerribleKeep searching these lame ducks are terrible.
-
Lillog2Karen read verdictThe episode of Karen Read’s verdict was the worst podcast episode I’ve ever listened to. Bashing her supporters for being at the courthouse? Did you stop to consider that maybe those people know more about what is going on in that town than outsiders know?
-
dixie1972Worst coverageThis is the most skewed podcast on this coverage out there. The host clearly has a strong opinion and hates Karen Read. Joke is on him based on what the jury decided.
-
Alyd94V biasedUnfortunately, this is one of the only podcasts covering the Karen Read trial. The hosts often seem unsure of the facts and basic legal principles—saying the defense introduced enough reasonable doubt, when it’s actually the prosecution’s job to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. If they didn’t, that means the prosecution failed or there simply wasn’t enough evidence to convict—resulting in a not guilty verdict. That’s how the justice system works. Very biased and hard to listen to.
-
Meg Reynolds1983Opinions no proofIt’s just their personal opinions but they never support them with any evidence. I think they are working for the prosecution

Elvis3197One-Sided and Biased Coverage — Not RecommendedI listened to True Crime Today: The Trial of Karen Read and was very disappointed by the coverage. From the very beginning, the podcast was 100% one-sided, clearly biased against Karen Read. Rather than providing a balanced analysis of both the prosecution and defense arguments, the hosts openly mocked and dismissed the defense, even going so far as to suggest that jurors would be “stupid” if they believed it. This kind of commentary is not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful to the judicial process and those involved. If you’re looking for fair, objective, and thoughtful coverage of a criminal trial, I would not recommend this podcast. Trials deserve to be covered impartially, allowing listeners to consider all sides and form their own opinions. Sadly, True Crime Today falls far short of that standard.
-
Adam “The Bug” FriedlandTotal victoryThe host is going to be brought up on libel charges and stuffed in the same cell as the cocaine dealing Albert kid
-
Pedey PabloHey Tony!!!!! not GulitySay it again for the people in the back. Karen Reid is Not Guilty of killing John. This means those 12 people believe he was NOT hit by a car. Something else happened!!
-
Emchan108Host is awfulI am not a free karen read person but this is so hard to listen to. On the most recent episode the awful, unfunny (hate his jokes) host is complaining that the defense never offers any alternate theories … they don’t have to. The entire burden is on the commonwealth. Why is he hosting a trial coverage podcast if he doesn’t understand this basic fact lol
-
Clashy Ginger QueenClearly biased - miss this one!Without even listening to half of a recap episode, I knew I needed to miss this show’s trial coverage. I asked my husband to find an unbiased podcast covering the Karen Read case so he could get up to speed with the retrial before a verdict arrived. I’ve been following the case and wanted to hear his thoughts. I was driving while he searched for a podcast and, without reading the reviews or episode titles, he turned this one on under the assumption it’d objectively summarize arguments from both the prosecution and the defense, and then provide prospective from neutral, uninterested experts and attorneys. The idea was to listen to the facts, hear testimony, and share our own opinions… compare and contrast. About five minutes in, I lost it. I picked up my phone to find another episode, preferably one that went over the facts considered the arguments from both sides without shoving one or the other down our throats. Even the titles of the recap episodes are awful! This show is not based solely on facts, the episodes titles are shameful, misleading, and completely dishonest, and the overall vibe is toxic. MISS THIS ONE. LISTEN TO COVERAGE PROVIDED BY PEOPLE WHO GIVE YOU FACTS AND LET YOU MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND. This one isn’t it. 🙄

Em MuhPodcast is a platform for airing personal POV; not legitimate, unbiased reportingGreat podcast for those with no familiarity with and/or respect for the United States constitution.
-
pemily083YikesListen I know that there are people that believe that Karen directly/indirectly caused John’s death… however, these guys have GOT to be paid by the prosecution. I cannot wrap my head around their thought process and opinions, it’s like we are watching two completely different trials.
-
alisongtxPause by the commonwealth?Super biased. Ignoring facts and really shameful reporting. On par with the investigation by Canton police. Are they being paid by the commonwealth?
-
rxcuinibububBoth commentators have no proof to back up their opinions.Took a listen today and actual had to leave a review because of how one sided and no proof with what they are saying. They have decided she is guilty. Fine then full stop. To put out episodes with no proof and praising the prosecution expert witnesses is laughable.
-
Colleen from MAExcellent Podcast!Tony Brueski’s intelligent, thorough, fact based commentary is my number one choice DAILY to stay current in my awareness of the news about the John O’Keefe murder trial. I am a proud, educated resident of Massachusetts who is, frankly, embarrassed by the mob mentality this tragic case has garnered. Thank you, Tony, for staying out of the mud and offering superior coverage of this horrible case!
-
brit022599Biased and Explains NothingI decided to give it a listen to get a perspective of the guilty argument instead of the innocent argument. There is no explaining WHY certain aspects destroy the defenses argument, he just talks about things completely irrelevant to the argument itself. He wants her to be guilty so bad. For example, in one episode, he is essentially claiming Karen is stupid and clueless for sitting smug and composed during a witness the defense called while it is supposedly “destroying” her case, yet barely includes any solid explanation of the evidence but does include extravagant detail surrounding the optics of the event of utilizing the witness. This is a joke, the second hand embarrassment here is strong. Suggestion to the podcast: Take a critical thinking course before continuing this series.
-
EMD22288For the saneIf you aren’t blinded by the insanity that is Free Karen Read you have found your podcast. Ignore the bad reviews by the people that choose to accept an absolutely illogical and idiotic conspiracy theory over real cold hard evidence. Tony tells it like it is and is funny while doing it.
-
AO8589Biased.Unwilling to even consider innocence. Innocent until proven guilty. The host is annoying in his ridiculous jabs and blatant disregard of facts.
-
SureBert330AwfulQuite possibly the worst podcast I have come across regarding the Karen Read coverage. Zero objectivity. Long rants of baseless opinion from the host.
-
NathJRabVery biasedThe host and his guests are so clearly biased against Read, it’s just not interesting.
-
Mochi anneCouple questionsIf all of these people are lying, why wouldn’t they just lie better? Say they saw something, heard something, anything. When the defense asked them questions in the first trial there were times that they treated them like they WERE credible (like asking them about things they knew they didn’t witness)-if they’re lying, why wouldn’t they just lie about those things so the defense couldn’t earn any points? Also, why wouldn’t anyone who knows something crack after years and so much harassment? Last question, would you lie for someone the way all of these people are accused of doing? I wouldn’t, and I feel like you’d have to be a psychopath or a narcissist (some kind of cluster b, lack of empathy personality disorder) to agree to do it. Or under extreme duress I guess. I feel like it’s way more likely that there’s just one or two people with the personality disorder behind all of this, and I feel like I’m only noticing people under duress from people on Karen’s side.
-
Critic for goodAunt BevEven I think this podcast is biased, and I’m a monster.
-
KatB730These folks are being paid by prosecution. There is no other way to explain how pathetic and biased this podcast is other than they are being paid by the real crooked cop killers and the crooked judge. You cannot be serious adult human beings with any logical bone in your body if you don’t see this sham of a trial for what it is. YIKES.
-
mary sioGarbage podcastZero investigation, zero objectivity - pass
-
Racheltexas70Yes!!!!Just tuned in and binge listening! I’ve been on the non popular side of this trial and find your coverage refreshing! Justice for John O’Keefe!
-
NoidtodayRidiculously biasedTitle says it. So very biased, lacks critical thinking.
-
Drea368Not enjoyableWhat a mess. Not only is this pod biased - it’s also poorly done.
-
Kg71852!revHeavily biasedThis might be a great program if you are not interested in anything objective and believe she’s guilty beyond a reasonable doubt?
-
Biased drivelInjustice for John O'KeefeThis podcast is garbage. The hosts completely disregard the indisputable facts of the case and rely solely on their own interpretation of her actions. They purport to want justice for John O'Keefe but really just want to scapegoat Karen Read while failing to consider an alternate, more nefarious circumstance that led to his death. JOK would want his actual killer brought to justice.
-
MelinchTerrible HostSo there’s this little thing in our cherished American values called “innocent until proven guilty” Perhaps the host forgot how we should treat the accused. 🤷♀️
-
MidgetLvrAlan JacksonI think AJ and KR are a little too close for comfort. I wonder if a relationship has developed. I know he’s married but that means nothing. There is also info online their marriage is in trouble and there’s a picture of him embracing Karen from behind outside a bar or restaurant. This would explain A LOT!
-
Rae#8AbrasiveI tried to listen to this podcast as well as a couple of others pertaining to the Karen Read trial, as to hear opinions from both sides. I just can’t anymore with this one. I believe there is a way to express your feelings about something without all of the foul language, and without insulting people who don’t share your views…. Just my opinion, but this is one I can do without
-
Ashley SkovNopeTurned it off within 5 minutes. The sarcastic, insincere tone was all I needed to hear.
-
lalalandw1Bored and annoyedToo many ads and the host is hard to listen to, very full of himself and belittling of others with different opinions. Don’t waste your time.
-
HowKHImmature analysisMake a joke of whiteness’s testimony & find themselves comical. And they aren’t. Terribly immature

MellitchKaren readSo incredibly biased
-
01jaxCommon senseI’ll just start by saying I have been listening to the Karen Reid trials (plural) for the last several years now and there’s no doubt in my mind she did it!!! Thank goodness this podcast has common sense and sees it for what it is. I agree wholeheartedly, and will continue to listen. Thank you for your honest and true coverage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
-
dutchdan123987Completely biasedI listen to three different podcasts about the Karen Reed trial one that is overly biased in favor of Karen Reed one which comes from the local news station and is objective and down the middle and reports on what happens and then the third is this clown. He is so clearly biased against Karen Reed and yet on occasion tries to portray himself as open minded. He much like the guy who is biased in favor of Karen Reed Only sees things through one simple lens. I only listen to balance off the podcast that is so overtly in favor of Karen Reed as it interests me how people can be so one way and only see things with blinders on that fits their narrative. This guy is terrible
-
ChelseaJ90Day 23&24???Did day 23 & 24 go on hiatus???? I don’t listen to anything but the trial on this podcast due to how annoying this guy’s voice is and how you can tell 1000% just how bias he is. I’ve been waiting for a few days for it and now all of a sudden day 25 is posted.
-
julnatinaBeyond extraThis guy…what a tool…the data is still in question and guess what…it keeps changing!! This guy is a big idiotic nothing burger
