    Best communist podcast out there
If you’re looking for a great podcast on the left stop here. They’re always on point and intersperse it with entertaining banter.

I have been listening for years. If you are an electrical engineer and have not subscribed yet, you’re missing out.

Like fine wine this podcast gets better and better.
I wish this show came out twice a week! I love the banter and perspective that both hosts bring to the mic. Dave’s old school pragmatic approach is invaluable and Chris’ interviews and dives into firmware have been amazing. He is doing a great job of showcasing the cutting edge convergence of hi-tech circuitry and software in a way that makes it more approachable for people just diving into the subject.

Episode 520 - why is Chris so pi$@y?
Chris was really in a bad mood and shut Dave down several times. Not an enjoyable episode. Hey Chris, I’m sure there are many listeners like me who check the description to see if Dave is on before listening. If he’s not, I skip it.

    Best overall poscast for EEs
I’ve listened to almost all of the other electronics related podcast but still consider this my favorite. Something about Chris and Dave’s on-air personalities as well as a large lineup of interesting guest interviews prevent me from getting bored with it. Keep it up Chris and Dave!

    Great Engineering podcast
I really appreciate how much Chris and Dave give to the electronics community. I have benefited greatly on a couple of occasions when I avoided a gotcha because of something mentioned, even as an aside, on one of the shows. This is a super valuable podcast, I even like when Chris selves into non technical books because it clearly comes from the heart. Thank you and your guests!

    My Favorite
The Amp Hour is my favorite podcast to listen to. I look forward to new episodes being released weekly for my morning drive. I enjoy listening to Chris and Dave chat. The interviews can be hit or miss, sometimes they are not that electronics related. Regardless, this is the best electronic podcast.

Things you didn’t know you didn’t know
The Amp Hour has a lot of interesting topics in electronics. It is an easy listen if you are into or getting into electronics. There are a lot of topics where I knew a few things but a good amount of the time I am learning about things that I didn’t know I didn’t know. The Amp Hour + EEVBlog + Contextual Electronics = a great time.

    A great resource
I am a relatively new engineer and listening to Dave and Chris continue to educate me in a wide range of topics. The interviews are especially informative since they have different points of view and specialities. And it's NOT BORING! Sorry to others, that I won't name, but they bored me to death.

The AMP Hour is a great listen
The AMP Hour is always informative and entertaining, often funny and enlightening. I rarely if ever build anything electronic and certainly don’t operate in electronics at the level these two aficionados speak to, but I very much enjoy their conversations through a wide range of electronics related themes.

    Informative to the MAX
I’ve been an electrician for the past 10 years, and made most of my money in controls for coal mines. I don’t know a whole lot about the smaller electronics side of things but have recently joined the ranks of the electrical designers of the world, and am using Autodesk applications, like Revit and Navisworks. Since joining the office staff I have noticed that my desire to learn more and more about EVERY aspect of electrical design and you guys are right on point with information and the struggles that I myself am facing dat in and day out. I love the show and I will be a listener from now on.

I Learn A LOT about Electronics from this Podcast
Chris and Dave have created a very dynamic, entertaining, and educational podcast that I look forward to every week. Their style is reminiscent of shows such as “Car Talk.” If you are into electronics, I highly recommend this podcast.

    Pure Awesome
If you could take awesome and put it in a podcast - you would have something close to the Amp Hour. I learn, I laugh, I cry...

    Awesome pie all over me
They should keep doing call-in shows! The podcast was awesome to begin with, but the call-in episode was another level :)

This podcast is the stuff electronic dreams are made of… I wonder if Dave does dream of electric… wallabies?

Keeps me current - amazing podcast!
This podcast allows me to keep connected to the world of electronics and electrical engineering. The nature of my work leaves me disconnected from the real world. This podcast saves my mind from getting stale! Thank you Chris and Dave!

    Excellent Podcast for Techies
Dave and Chris have a great chemistry and work well together. They continue to have some amazing guests every other week. One of my favorite parts is that they never rush their guests to keep them on a schedule. It's not just a lack of commercial breaks that makes it nice, but if they’re still deep in discussion, the “hour” show just keeps going. LOVE it!

    Great fun around electronics!
Very entertaining, lots of electronics-related topics, fantastic and interesting guests. The host are great chaps couple, and they complement each other perfectly. The ideal audio show for electronic engineers, makers and hobbyists. I never miss an episode. Thanks Chris and Dave! I love it!

    Not enough amp hours
My only complaint is that it's too short! You guys do great work.
  • tumnurkoz
    Informative,hilarious and thoroughly enjoyable
I seriously look forward to Chris and Dave every week. The banter between them is hilarious and not without its 'uncomfortable silences' technically, it hits all the spots, hardware, electrical, electronic and sometimes software. Special guests are varied and sometimes irregular in appearance but always a great listen. Totally recommended. Well done guys.

The only podcast I listen to every week
Chris and Dave, along with the guests they bring, just have a very down-to-earth approach and they are very enjoyable to listen to. I've particularly enjoyed hearing the different industry experts, who range in industry and expertise from automotive electronics to home automation. Great show. Thank you guys!
  • Shamanjoe
I love it, even when I have no idea what they're talking about!
Great electronics podcast. Sometimes the tall goes way over my head technically, but they always make it interesting and as easy to follow as possible.
  • apathyisbliss
Great podcast for EE and CE majors
There's a beautiful mix of industry and hobbyist news that is thoroughly enjoyable. And, the interviews are great! I would love to hear more interviews. Even 'regular joe' engineers can be fascinating as long as they're passionate about their work.
  • EE Fun Times

I listen every week and enjoy the casual conversation on electrical engineering. I relate to a lot of the topics and appreciate the time that is spent on producing the content (as well as the fun show names).

    Best hour of the week!
I absolutely love this podcast. Been listening since I found out about it on twitter around episode 20. I can never wait until next week's show! Topics range from "chip of the week" reviews to tributes and shout-outs to designers and products of relevant electronics kits, services, and vendors. Special guest appearances by big names in the EE twitterverse. Listen long enough and you might even hear Dave let someone else speak! No, actually he probably just lost his Internet connection. The best hour of the week! (FYI- website is easier to use than iTunes )
